서울시는 오는 15일부터 17일까지 사흘간 잠실종합운동장에서 대규모 콘서트와 스포츠 행사가 개최돼 다수의 관람객이 운집할 것으로 예상되는 만큼 인근을 찾는 시민들에게 대중교통을 이용해 줄 것을 당부한다고 14일 밝혔다.
먼저 이 기간 올림픽주경기장에서는 전국투어로 진행되는 ‘싸이흠뻑 쇼 2022’가 개최되며 약 10만여명의 관객들이 공연을 관람할 것으로 예측된다.
이어 같은 기간 잠실실내체육관에서는 ‘슈퍼주니어 콘서트’가 진행되며 15일과 16일 이틀간은 잠실야구장에서 ‘2022 프로야구 올스타전’이 잠실노래방알바개최돼 약 4만명의 야구팬들이 경기장을 찾을 것으로 보인다.
시는 “17일까지 잠실종합운동장에는 약 15만명의 관람객이 방문하게 돼 주변 일대가 매우 혼잡할 것으로 예상된다”라며 “즐겁고 안전한 관람을 위해 시민들의 대중교통 이용을 적극 권장한다”고 밝혔다.

한편 SK브로드밴드는 방송통신위원회가 12월에 발표한 이용자보호평가에서 5년 연속 ’매우 우수‘로 최고 점수를 받았고 국가고객만족도 8년 연속 1위를 달성한 기념으로 B tv 고객 500명에게 ‘뽀로로파크(잠실점)’ 이용권 증정 행사를 2019년 1월 진행할 예정이다.

4일 패션 업계에 따르면 피팅룸이 브랜드 마케팅 효과는 물론 다채로운 컨셉으로 특별한 사진과 추억까지 남길 수 있는 공간으로 거듭나고 있다.
국내 브랜드 '아더에러'는 서울 강남구 신사동에 플래그십스토어를 열면서 이색적인 피팅룸으로 화제가 됐다. 노래방을 재현한 독특한 컨셉의 피팅룸에서는 방음 시설까지 완벽해 실제로 노래를 부르는 손님들도 있다. 달리는 열차칸을 구현한 피팅룸도 있다.
서울 홍대 근처에 문을 연 나이키 스타일 매장에는 피팅룸을 사진 촬영 스튜디오처럼 꾸며 놨다. 조명을 조절해 자신만의 스타일을 사진과 동영상으로 남길 수 있다.
무신사 스탠다드 강남에는 15개의 피팅룸이 마련돼 있다. LG스탠바이미 디스플레이가 설치돼 있어 스마트폰과 연동해 미러링해 볼 수 있다. 조명도 원하는 컬러 톤으로 조절할 수 있어 단순한 피팅룸 인증샷이 아닌 색다른 추억이 될 수 있는 특별한 사진을 남길 수 있다. 인스타그램 릴스, 틱톡, 유튜브 쇼츠도 피팅룸 안에서 촬영해 올릴 수 있다.
이처럼 패션 업계는 자투리 공간에 불과했던 피팅룸에 공을 들이고 있다. 오픈된 장소인 쇼핑 매장과 달리 브랜드 정체성 체험을 극대화할 수 있는 공간으로 피팅룸이 효과적이기 때문이다. 업계에서는 "피팅룸 안에서는 옷을 자유롭게 입어보고 살필 성남노래방알바수 있다"며 "매장 직원이 옷의 디자인을 설명하는 것보다 고객 스스로 브랜드 체험을 충분히 할 수 있어 만족도가 높다"고 말했다.
피팅룸에서의 인증삿은 바이럴 마케팅 효과가 상당하다. 사회관계망서비스(SNS) 활동을 활발히 하는 20·30세대 사이에서 피팅룸에서 새 옷을 입고 찍은 사진이 공유되고 있다. 일부 패션브랜드에서는 피팅룸 착장샷 공유를 브랜드 마케팅의 일환으로 보고 관련 수치를 파악하고 있다.
얼굴을 슥 보더니 “일 할 거예요, 말 거예요?”라고 물었다. “의사가 있다”고 하자 이번에는 나이를 확인했다. 이름이 뭔지, 왜 일을 하려고 하는지는 궁금해하지 않았다. ‘노래방 도우미’를 하겠다는 의사를 밝힌 뒤 직업소개소 실장을 만난 자리였다. 기자성남노래방도우미 신분을 밝히고 만난 노래방 업주의 소개로 실장과 연락이 닿았다. 위치추적 전자장치(전자발찌) 훼손 살인범 강윤성(56) 사건을 계기로 노래방 도우미들의 ‘안전’ 문제에 관심을 갖게 된 기자는 업계 사정을 잘 아는 실장을 만나 내막을 들어보고, 도우미들의 일하는 패턴을 살펴보기 위해 직접 ‘픽업’ 차량에 타보기로 했다. 지난 8일 밤 강윤성이 누볐다는 서울 송파구 일대 노래방들을 다녔다. 혹시 모를 위험에 대비해 노래방 업주와는 연락을 수시로 주고받았다.
짙게 선팅이 된 8인승 봉고차 안의 적막을 깨는 건 도우미들을 찾는 전화벨 소리였다. 휴대전화 2개를 든 실장은 1개로는 노래방 업주로부터 콜을 받고, 다른 1개로는 도우미들과 통화하며 바쁘게 움직였다. 여성들을 관리하는 대가로 손님들이 지불한 도우미 호출금액의 23%를 수수료로 챙긴다는 실장은 직접 차를 몰고 다니면서 도우미들을 ‘픽업’했다.
골목 구석구석을 누빌 때마다 도우미들이 모습을 드러냈다. 연령층은 40~50대가 대다수였다. 노래방에서 갓 나온 도우미들은 목이 쉬어 있었다. 이들은 차 안에서 각종 정보를 주고 받았다. 자주 찾는 단골 손님들은 모두 잘 아는 듯했다. 한 노래방에서 콜이 들어왔다는 이야기에 도우미 여성은 “또 그 문신한 사람들이겠지? 거긴 너무 힘들어서 오늘은 안 갈래”라고 했다. 그러자 옆에 있던 여성이 “그래도 지저분하게 놀지는 않지 않아?”라고 대꾸했다. 어떤 도우미 여성의 이름을 언급하면서 “연락이 안 된 지 2~3주는 넘은 것 같은데…. 내일은 한 번 전화를 해봐야겠어”라는 말도 오갔다.
실장은 기자에게 “한 달에 얼마를 벌고 싶냐”면서 “여기는 다 돈이다. 돈만 생각하면 된다”고 했다. “돈을 많이 벌고 싶으면 ‘2차’를 나가야 한다”고도 했다. 가만히 듣고 있다가 노래방 도우미들이 표적이 된 강윤성 사건을 언급하며 “범죄 노출이 걱정된다”고 말을 꺼냈다. 실장은 잠시 당황하는 듯하더니 이내 “그런 살인사건은 10만 분의 1이다. 매일 그런 일이 벌어지면 도우미들이 어떻게 일을 하겠느냐”고 했다. 그러더니 “스스로 판단하면 된다. 위험할 것 같으면 나와야지”라고 했다. 도우미 여성를 보호할 안전망은 없어 보였다.

늦은 시각까지 도우미들을 호출하는 전화벨 소리가 끊이지 않았다. 실장은 중간중간 업주들에게 대기하는 도우미들의 상황을 알렸다. 어둠이 짙게 깔린 밤, 여성들은 핸드백 하나를 어깨에 둘러맨 채 홀로 노래방으로 향했다. 이어 차량도 유유히 다음 동선을 향해 이동했다.
음악산업진흥법에 따르면 노래방 도우미를 고용·알선하는 행위는 불법이다. 하지만 노래방 도우미를 찾는 수요는 여전하고 생업 차원에서 어쩔 수 없이 일을 하는 이들도 많다. 직업 자체가 불법적이어서 범죄 피해를 당하거나 위협을 느껴도 신고하기 어렵다. 음지에서 생활하다보니 실종이 돼도 제때 알려지지 않는다. 강윤성 사건에서도 첫 번째 피해 여성은 살해된 지 사흘이 지나 강씨가 자수할 때까지 실종 신고조차 이뤄지지 않았다. 노래방 도우미들의 현실을 파악하려고 시도한 잠입 취재에서 확인한 사실은 ‘개인 자율’ 혹은 ‘개인 판단’이란 이름에 기댄 ‘안전망 부재’였다.
강씨는 지난달 26일 오후 9시30분에서 오후 10시 사이 본인의 자택에서 40대 후반 여성 1명을 계획적으로 살해하고, 이튿날인 27일 오후 5시30분쯤 전자발찌를 절단한 후 도주했다. 다음날인 28일 오후에는 50대 초반의 여성을 불러냈는데, 여성이 “빌려준 돈을 상환하지 않으면 경찰에 신고하겠다”고 하자 29일 오전 3시30분 잠실한강공원 주차장에 세워둔 차 안에서 살해했다. 피해 여성들은 모두 노래방 도우미들이었다. 강씨가 범죄에 취약한 대상을 골라 범행을 저지른 것이라는 분석이 나왔다.
송파구 일대에서 노래방 도우미로 일했던 A씨는 기자와 만나 “손님들이 어떻게 돌변할지 알 수 없는 게 가장 힘들었다. 권유하는 술을 마신 뒤 취해 있는 상태에서 성폭행을 당한 경험이 있다”며 “유흥업소에서 일한다는 이유로 경찰 수사에서 오히려 피의자 신분이 될까 두려워 신고하지 못했다”고 털어놨다. 주변에는 취한 손님이 휘두른 맥주병에 다치거나 2차 자리에 나갔다가 감금 당한 사례도 있다고 전했다. A씨는 그러면서 “내 일이 아니길 바라는 수밖에 없다”고 했다.
씨는 “저희끼리는 ‘출근해서 언제라도 죽을 수 있다’고 말하는 게 일상인데, 이번 강윤성 사건을 보면서 다들 ‘내가 경험하는 환경과 다를 게 없다’고 느끼고 있다”며 “유흥업소에서 일한다고 범죄가 용인돼선 안된다고 생각한다. 어느 곳에서 일하든지 ‘나를 지켜줄 안전망’이 필요하지 않나. 이 요구에 사회가 응답했으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
노래방 도우미들이 각종 범죄에 노출된 사실은 판결문에서 확인된다. 대법원 판결문 검색 시스템을 통해 최근 2년간 노래방 도우미들 사건 관련 확정 판결문 26건을 들여다봤다. 14건(53.8%)이 노래방 운영과 직접 관련이 있었는데, 도우미들의 피해와 관련한 사건은 5건(35.7%)에 불과했다. 판결문에 따르면 노래방 도우미들은 준강간, 강간, 강제추행, 폭행, 절도 피해 등에 노출돼 있다. 절도 피해를 제외한 4건 중 대법원에서 실형이 선고된 사건은 1건에 불과했다.
범죄에 노출돼도 신고로 이어지는 경우가 드물어 실제 피해는 더 많을 것으로 추정된다. 시민단체 반성매매인권행동 ‘이룸’이 지난해 노래방 도우미를 포함한 유흥종사자 131명을 대상으로 1478건의 상담을 진행한 결과 법률 관련 내용이 448건으로 가장 많았다. 법률 상담에서는 성폭행·상해를 다룬 내용이 84건, 사채·일수로 인한 개인회생이나 파산 면책 상담이 83건이었다.
장윤미 한국여성변호사회 공보이사는 13일 “유흥업에 종사하는 여성들이 처한 특수성을 감안한다면 노래방 도우미 관련 범죄는 암수범죄화 될 가능성이 높은 것으로 추정할 수 있다”며 “문제를 제기하기 어려운 사정을 악용해 가해자가 여자들에게 책임을 돌리는 부분이 법원에서 유리하게 참작돼서는 안 된다. 범죄를 신고하면 실무에서 (유흥업 종사의) 불법을 문제삼지 않는 제도적 장치 마련이 필요하다”고 말했다.
황유나 이룸 활동가는 “성산업 종사 여성들이 범죄 대상이 되기 쉬운 것은 법제도의 사각지대에 있기 때문만이 아니다. 성을 판매하는 여성을 함부로 대하고 차별해도 용인되는 사회인식이 더 문제”라며 “사회인식을 개선하기 위한 논의의 장이 있어야 한다”고 말했다. 성노동자해방행동 ‘주홍빛연대 차차’ 측도 “어떤 일을 하든 죽어도 되는 사람은 없다. 안전망에서 일하고자 하는 것은 누구나 누려야 하는 권리인 만큼 성산업 노동자의 법적 노동권을 보장할 필요가 있다”고 했다.

○…A씨는 지난 7일 한 온라인 커뮤니티 게시판에 "나는 수니파 극단주의 테러 조직 이슬람국가(IS) 전사"라며 "서울 잠실종합운동장에 오전 중 3차례 폭탄을 터뜨리겠다"는 내용의 글을 올린 혐의.
○…당시 잠실운동장에서는 ‘서울페스타 2022’ 개최를 준비하던 작업자 1천여 명과 운동장에서 연습을 하던 LG 트윈스 선수단 등이 대피하는 소동이 빚어졌는데, 경찰은 해당 글의 IP 추적을 통해 고양시 소재 A씨 자택에서 체포.
18일 오후 3년 만에 오프라인 공연으로 열린 '제28회 드림콘서트'에 내로라하는 K팝 스타들이 총출동했다.
이날 서울 잠실 올림픽주경기장에서 열린 행사에서는 대세 걸그룹 아이브를 비롯해 레드벨벳·위클리·클라씨·라잇썸과 그룹 NCT 드림·드리핀, 싱어송라이터 이무진까지 총 27팀의 정상급 가수가 출연했다.
지난 1995년 시작한 드림콘서트는 올해로 28년째를 맞았다. 그러나 2020년과 지난해는 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 여파로 온라인으로 열렸다.
이날 출연자 가운데 '최고참'인 레드벨벳은 레드카펫 행사에서 "2015년 첫 드림콘서트에서 '아이스크림 케이크'(Ice Cream Cake) 무대를 한 것이 생각난다"며 "파스텔톤 의상을 입고 돌출 무대를 뛰어가면서 공연한 것이 생각난다"고 소회를 밝혔다.
그러면서 "아무래도 팬들의 함성과 떼창이 정말 그리웠다"며 "다 같이 춤까지 춰 주시면서 불러주시면 어떨까 한다"고 오랜만의 대면 공연에 대한 기대를 드러냈다.
또 NCT 드림은 "오늘 저의 안무는 아마 프리스타일이 될 것"이라며 "그 당시의 우리의 기분과 시즈니(NCT 팬) 여러분의 함성에 따라 동작이 달라질 것"이라고 말했다.
이날 콘서트는 전 세계를 휩쓰는 K팝의 위상에 걸맞게 태국을 비롯해 일본, 베트남, 말레이시아, 미국, 페루, 브라질 등 세계 각국에서 다양한 플랫폼을 통해 생중계됐다.
행사에 앞서 오후 4시부터는 사전 행사 격인 레드카펫이 진행돼 스타들에게 플래시 세례가 쏟아졌다.
또 잠실종합운동장 보조경기장에서는 '한국에서 K팝에 빠지다'를 주제로 노래방 부스 체험, 랜덤 플레이 체험, 포토존 등 다양한 이벤트도 펼쳐졌다.
행사를 주최한 한국연예제작자협회와 한국관광공사는 만약을 대비해 관객이 마스크를 제대로 쓰고 있는지 철저히 점검하는 한편, 이전 행사보다 더 많은 경호·안전·안내 요원을 투입했다.
임백운 연예제작자협회장은 "그동안 위축됐던 우리나라 공연 업계에 활력을 불어넣고 전 세계 K팝 팬들에게 오래도록 남는 감동과 추억을 선사하고자 했다"고 밝혔다.
지난 1996년 데뷔해 최고의 인기를 누린 그룹 H.O.T. 멤버 이재원이 MBC '복면가왕'에 출연하며 방송가에서의 활약을 예고했다. 1세대 아이돌 H.O.T.는 10만 명이 넘는 공식 팬클럽을 모집하고, 다섯 장의 정규앨범 모두 100만 장 이상의 판매고를 기록한 그룹이다.

서울 강남구의 한 스튜디오에서 본지와 만난 이재원은 '복면가왕' 출연 소감과 사업가로 변신한 근황 등 다양한 이야기를 들려줬다.
"최근에 활동이 없어서 팬들에게 활동하는 모습을 보여드리고 싶은 마음이 있었어요. 스튜디오 촬영을 해본 지 오래됐는데 '복면가왕' 녹화를 한번 하면 재밌을 거 같았거든요. 우연치 않게 작가분께 섭외 요청이 와서 하게 됐어요.
-무대에 오르기 전 준비과정은 어땠나.
"최근에 2주 정도 보컬 트레이닝을 받았어요. 시간이 더 많았으면 좀 더 잘할 수 있었을 것 같은데 약간 모자랐죠. 그게 좀 아쉬워요. 그래도 1승을 해서 참 다행이란 생각을 했어요. 짧은 시간이지만 연습을 열심히 해서 무대에 올랐는데 이길 수 있을지 몰랐어요. 집이 방음이 잘 안돼서 노래 연습을 하기 어려운 상황이라 코인노래방에 가서 연습을 했죠. 처음 가봤는데 신세계더라고요. 하하."
-1라운드 상대가 모델 정혁인 걸 알았나.
"사실은 '복면가왕' 시스템이 그 정도로 철저한지 몰랐어요. 정말 깜짝 놀랐어요. 사전 연습할 때도 아예 복면을 다 쓰고 보안을 철저히 하더라고요. 그러다 보니까 누군지를 아예 예상조차 못 했어요. 처음에 연습할 때 랩을 굉장히 잘 하셔서 래퍼이실 수도 있겠다고 생각했죠."
-솔리드의 '천생연분'을 불렀는데 사연이 있는 곡인가.
"원래 솔리드 선배님들을 좋아했어요. 제가 맨 처음 산 테이프가 솔리드였거든요. 중2 때 사서 엄청 많이 들었어요. 닳도록 들었는데 그런 곡을 부르게 되니 감회가 새롭더라고요. 잘해야겠다는 생각이 들었고, 1승을 하게 된 것도 어릴 때부터 그 음악을 많이 들었던 게 영향을 미치지 않았을까 싶어요."
-오랜만에 스튜디오 녹화를 해보니 어땠나. 출연 소감을 들려달라.
"패널 분들이 저란 걸 아시고 굉장히 많이 놀라더라고요. 어떤 분들은 저라고 예상하는 것 같기도 했지만 다른 분으로 오해를 하기도 했어요. 서운하기도 하면서 그런 게 반전이 된 것 같아 재밌게 촬영했습니다. 공중파 방송 스튜디오에서 녹화를 해본 기억이 오래 됐는데 요즘 방송의 느낌을 배우고 와서 즐거운 경험이었어요."
-유쾌한 개인기도 선보였는데.
